3Action Vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement with easily absorbable vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, the most effective form of vitamin D3) with a dose of 1500IU (37.5 µg). It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the normal functioning of muscles and the immune system.
Vitamin D3 can be produced by the skin through sunlight. This is often insufficient, which is why additional sources are indicated. This is the case during the cold winter months or with an increased need, such as with athletes. Studies have shown that in Western Europe approximately three quarters of the adult population obtains too low a vitamin D intake of an average of 3.2 µg per day from food, while the recommended daily amount (RDA) is 10 µg for vitamin D. A nutritional supplement such as 3Action Vitamin D3 therefore contributes to the prevention of vitamin D deficiency.
The role of vitamin D cannot be underestimated. For example, it plays an essential role in calcium absorption in the body, muscle contractions and the functioning of the immune system. All our orders are shipped from our warehouse in Belgium. For shipments outside the EU (+ United Kingdom) import or customs duties may be charged.
