Energy consumption during a marathon can be very high and it is therefore very important to use adapted sports nutrition products.
This marathon pack contains the necessary energy products to use on the days leading up to the marathon and on the day of the race itself.
Don't forget to hydrate yourself by drinking enough. This package assumes that you don't bring your own drinks, but use the drinks from the supply stations. If you would like to bring your own sports drink, supplement this package with 3Action Sports Drink , the ideal thirst quencher for during the efforts.
BEFORE THE MARATHON
From 3 days before the marathon, you can start increasing your energy reserves. Use 150g 3Action Carboloader per day. This can be done by dissolving 60g in 500ml of water (or another non-carbonated liquid) or by adding e.g. 1 scoop (20g) to your yoghurt, pasta sauce, soup, etc. to increase the intake of carbohydrates, without having to eat enormous amounts.
Before starting, have an easily digestible, carbohydrate-rich breakfast, possibly supplemented with 3Action Energy Xtra bar , rich in carbohydrates, low in fibre and fat.
Just before the start of the marathon, use a 3Action Energy Gel to keep your blood sugar levels stable and to be able to start with a full fuel tank.
DURING THE MARATHON
During the marathon, regularly use a 3Action Energy gel or 3Action Liquid Energy Gel . Try to consume an average of 60g of carbohydrates (including any sports drinks) per hour. Both the concentrated Energy Gels and the more fluid Liquid Energy Gels contain 25g of carbohydrates per serving.
Once you have taken the concentrated 3Action Energy Gel, wash it down with a sip of water/sports drink.
At the end of the marathon, approximately the last 45 minutes, you can take the 3Action Guarana to get an extra boost. Guarana is a natural form of caffeine and provides a stimulating effect. In addition, Peppermint has been added to the 3Action Guarana, which immediately gives you the feeling of taking in more oxygen.
AFTER THE MARATHON
Drink a serving of 3Action Recovery Shake as soon as possible after arrival (preferably within 30 minutes) to replenish your energy reserves and promote muscle recovery.

All our orders are shipped from our warehouse in Belgium. For shipments outside the EU (+ United Kingdom) import or customs duties may be charged. The amount of these duties depends on the nature and value of the products, shipping costs and other factors. If the destination country charges import duties, the customer is responsible for payment to the relevant authorities.

If you do not pay the import duties, your package will be returned to us. You can request a refund, but shipping and handling fees may be deducted.
When can I expect my package?
The estimated delivery time depends on your location and the chosen shipping method. In general, we aim to deliver orders within the Benelux 1-2 business days after receipt of payment. International orders may take a little longer due to customs and transit times.
The average delivery time of products is:
- For Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg: 1 to 2 working days after payment of the order
- For France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria: 2 to 3 working days after payment of the order
- For the rest of the world: 3 to 5 working days after payment of the order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. This allows you to track the progress of your package via the website of the parcel service.
